Goodyear Stream Wellington.
Goodyear are probably better known for their tyres, but it turns out they’re a dab hand at the rubber boot making business as well. The iconic winged sandal has been emblazoned on the racers leathers for years and years but now you can wear it down the field, in the muck, in a stream or down the field in a mucky stream.
It won’t really matter if it is cold outside either as the 3.5mm neoprene lining will help to keep the feet insulated from the cold. The Goodyear Stream wellington has been perfectly designed to fit nicely around the calf and also has a buckle adjustable strap with fully gusseted panel to help fit even more snug. The ankle is firm yet pliable and the sole unit is firm under foot with a comfortable feel. there are several reinforced points around the boot which make it a little bit more substantial without compromising the comfort and the the toe box is a little bit more rigid, this helps the boot to keep their shape throughout their working life.
These Goodyear Stream wellingtons are a good quality for the price kind of boot, possibly if they had a different brand name they could have easily been twice the price, the RRP on these boots is £69.99 we are doing them for £50 a lot of bang for your buck as they say in the states.
The colour (which is hard to tell on screen) of the Goodyear Stream Wellington is a perfect olive green with a brown contrasting trim which gives them a good look, the inner is a denim type blue colour but i don’t think anybody will see that when you are wearing them.
All in all a great wellington boot. The Goodyear Stream Wellington will become a classic, it does have all the required features for a decent field welly, fits well, feels comfortable and looks the part. A highly recommended buy, anybody that has tried them on instore or on the show fields has been happy to buy them on the spot.
