Undoubtedly one of thee best value money coats in the Sherwood range, this garment is technically the same if not superior to other more expensive brands on the market, as a fairly new but already well established name in the country sports clothing market it is important that Sherwood try to stay ahead of the pack with regards to quality and cost, and so far they have been succeeding. The Kensington range which includes the Kensington trousers and the Kensington gilet has been the 'flagship' of the Sherwood range to date.
The coat has an outer, which is made of a nice moss olive colouredpolyester/nylon mix fabric,which will make it incredibly durable no matter the conditions yet will remain soft and quiet, it has been set off with a brown polyesetr trim to complete the luxurious look and feel of the garment.As can be seen from the above picture there are two large bellows patch pockets which should hold enough shells for a good day's shooting, what can't be seen is the straps which come from the luxury feel fleece lined handwarmer pockets that keep the clip over lid on the bellows pockets opened to allow rapid access to the afforementioned shells when speed is of the essence. Under the storm flap there is another zipped pocket and also under the left shoulder trim there is another smaller zip closed pocket. Under the arms there are two zipped enclosures which contain high visibility orange arm bands, the arm has an inner knitted cuff to prevent draughts and heat loss, also adjustable straps on the outer cuff for a snug fit. The back of the coat has action extendable panels to allow full freedom of movement without restriction and also acroos the back is a game or 'poachers' pocket which has zipped openings at either end. Now that I have explained as best I can in writing the outer of the coat we shall move on the inner, the inner lining is a lightweight nylon construction allowing for maximum breathability yet maintaining durability, there is a zipped inner pocket and a phone pocket, there is also an inner game pocket which has a removable liner. The fit of the coat can be adjusted to best suit the wearer by means of elasticated draw cords, complete with brass effect toggles, located at the waist line and at the hem of the coat.
Now did I leave anything out? I mentioned all the features with regareds to functionality and the qualityof design and wear, and did I mention that by way of an Isoflux 8.500 series membrane this coat is totally waterproof and highly breathable?
