Lightweight waterproof boots from Gri Sport.
The Timber is almost a classic from the Gri Sport range, these lightweight waterproof boots have been made in Italy and stocked in our store foe quite a few years now and we will continue to sell them for many more years to come, that is how confident I am in the quality of these lightweight waterproof boots and the reasonable price which is charged for them. Gri Sport boots are not the most expensive on the market but they are not a cheap inferior quality brand, all their products are designed and made in Italy with the satisfaction of the customer in mind. Gri Sport use quality Italian leathers in their lightweight waterproof boots. Using a Rubbermac sole unit these lightweight waterproof boots provide plenty of grip in all environments and cushioning for walking. The fit is ideal for a slightly wider foot and provides plenty of room for a heavier sock. Spo-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane helps to protect the feet from inhospitable environments keeping rain out whilst allowing sweat to escape through the micro porous structure of the membrane. The D-ring and hook speed lace system allow a custom fit of these lightweight waterproof boots to ensure plenty of support for the ankle when hiking on uneven ground. As with all leather products care and maintenance are essential to ensure you get the best from your lightweight waterproof boots. After wearing the lightweight waterproof boots first clean off any excess dirt or mud with water, then leave to dry slowly at room temperature, if possible stuff the lightweight waterproof boots with absorbent paper such as an old news paper. When treating the leather after it has dried out it is advisable not to use dubbin or oil based leather treatments as these will affect the breathable properties of the Spo-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane. Instead it would be best if you could treat your lightweight waterproof boots with a silicone based oil or a water based leather waterproofing, alternatively good old fashioned wax polish will do just as well.
